How we handle your data when you send us an inquiry.
Data controller
The controller of personal data collected through this website is the owner of Villa Hills Rab. Contact details for any privacy questions are listed at the bottom of this page.
What data we collect
When you fill in the inquiry form, we ask for your full name, email address, optionally a phone number, your preferred apartment, check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, and a message. This information is requested solely so we can respond to your inquiry and arrange a booking if needed.
How your data is sent
This website does not have its own database or server that stores form content. When you click "Send inquiry", your device opens your own email application with a pre-filled message that you send directly to us; the "Send via WhatsApp" option similarly opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. Your data therefore travels directly from your device to us, without an intermediate server storing it.
Cookies and visit statistics
We use Vercel Analytics to track the number of visits and page views. This service does not use cookies and does not collect data that would personally identify you — it only records anonymous, aggregated statistics (e.g. how many people visited which page). The /okolica (Surroundings) and /kontakt (Contact) pages contain an embedded Google Map; when loaded, Google may set its own cookies in accordance with its privacy policy.
Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, its correction or deletion, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP). Since form data does not pass through our server, the only record we may have is the email or WhatsApp message you sent us yourself — we will delete it upon your request.
